Introduction
Although its existence was suspected for a long time already
by collectors, it was only just before Christmas 2000 that a single from the
'Fais que ton rêve soit plus long que la nuit' album was actually discovered in
Paris...
Renowned for its rarity (not more than 3 copies are known to exist
today), this single are now in the safe hands of various European collectors
:-)
The single seems to have been made exclusively for usage in
Jukeboxes as the following text on the sleeve suggests:
Tracklist
The
single, of which both the A and B sides contain the same material, consists of a
little 2.5 minute suite containing 5 bits all taken from Part II on the album.
Just like the album is a sequence of pieces whose starts and ends are mixed into
each other, so is this single. Because the 5 bits as they appear on the album
are separated by other material, the bridges on the single are slightly
different, therefore the odd couple of seconds sound slightly different from the
album.
